The Loaded Hog Logo Excellent conditions (as promised) with a light southerly to push all 81 participants strongly over the finish line. Cameron Goldsmid was again the victor with a time of 16:52 (fastest male) and Alice Wilson just edged out Pernille Fletcher to record the fastest woman's time of 18:52. First male race walker home was Ian Morton (31:52) and fastest woman race walker was Lynn Broad (33:03).

Cara Billen produced a milestone with her first sub-20 min PB over 5k in 19:48 and was apparently elated to also receive a Loaded Hog spot prize. Great to see our guest selector spreading the weekly prize draw over all sections this week. Sadly, I missed out on a hug and kiss from Johnny Hines.

Congrats also to Paul Crompton, Lynn Broad, Paul Homan and Martin Snodgrass for their commitment to the series - maintaining their perfect attendance with an 8th race in succession. They all go into the special draws to be conducted on Tuesday 13 December 2005 - for participation and improvement over the series. A minimum of five races in Series 2 will see you go into the draw for the $100 Loaded Hog gift vouchers on offer.

We are still accepting team/group names for the Dan Powell Series Bonus' Cash Prizes (2 x $100)- min. 25 total participations will qualify the group. Last chance!

And so we look forward to Tuesday 13 December 2005 which will be the last race in the series - registrations at 5:30pm; Walk start at 5:45pm and Run start at 6:00pm. So perhaps round up everyone for one final dash and a few drinks afterwards to celebrate a good year of running...a meal even and join the officials who no doubt will be looking forward to a well-earned one month break.
