The Magills charm broke last night with the races surrounded by rain and a squally southerly (but the rain kept away during the event). Thirty people took the plunge. In the race walk, Mike Lane and Diana Isherwood continued their winning ways.

In the run, the juniors took over the front spots: Scott Ferguson and Ben Christophers at around 17:20. First women were Catherine Haviv (19:32) and Michele Allison, 10 seconds behind.

Thanks to the entry recorders (Todd Stevens, Karl Woodhead), turning-point marshal (Todd Stevens), and recorders (Dan Powell, Kathryn and Rodney Fraser). See you again next week, for an even lighter event, in perfect conditions, once again.
