Congratulations to the 5k and 10k runners this morning (and one solo 15k runner!)  Fastest overall on handicap and winner of the Arkwright Cup was Christine Jones, while fastest male on handicap and winner of the Tanadees Cup was Andrew Wharton.

Fastest on the course over 5k were Dougal Thorburn and Ange Penberthy. In the 10k our fastest runners were Rowan Hooper and Hinano Andrews, and Sam McCutcheon was our solo 15k runner.  Well done everyone. Full results are below.

The prestigious Tanadees Trophy will be up for grabs at the Club's Waterfront race on Saturday morning, 1 November.

The club races will be a sealed handicap competition, with the senior trophies (male and female) going to the winners on handicap in the 10k race.  The 5k race will be a sealed handicap for Under 20 juniors.  The J team will have a race over 2k.

Essential details:
All races start at 8.30am, Queens Wharf, using the Tuesday night 5k course.  So 2 laps for the 10k.  Just like earlier races this winter, elect whether you want to do either the 5k or 10k by finishing after either 1 or 2 laps (but note the senior trophies are for the 10k race).

We will be using the electronic timing tag system, so bring your Scottish tag, or see Mandy before the start for a replacement one.

And non members are welcome - for an entry fee of $5 (free entry for Scottish members).

So whether you are looking for good race to show off your form, an up tempo hit out, an excuse to keep the winter fitness up, come along.  You might even come away with a trophy!
