 2004 Athletics Wellington Cross Country Championships, Waikanae Park, Waikanae, 17 July 2004

A challenging new course over old territory - hills, mud, wet spots - a real cross country course was the common comment - well done, Peter Ellis and Kapiti Harriers. What's more, the rain kept away.

Scottish had good fields in most of the grades, for a total of 67 finishers. 

We had firsts in SM (James Coubrough) and in the Road Walk (Amelia De Lorenzo), seconds in SM (Glenn Hughes), M20 (Tim Hodge), B14 (Robert Humphrys), thirds in W17 (Tessa Hunt), G13 (Florence Reynolds) and M20 (Tristan Rodway), a fourth in SW (Sally Anderson), and fifths in SW (Suzanne Cookson) and SM (Nick Buck).  

Scottish SM took six of the top 10 places. Wellington Harriers dominated the medal placings in SW and MW.

Results come from Peter Ellis, Kapiti Harriers and Multisport. Walk results to come.  The mature male masters (aka the Supervets) have not been separated out from their young compatriots.
