 Wellington Secondary Schools Road Championships, WestpacTrust Stadium, 18 September 2002

A day with a blustery northerly was perhaps not the best one to experiment with the new stadium circuit and the concrete concourse. You had to feel for the year-9s battling their way back to the stadium in the worst of the wind. But with some tune-ups, it should be good, safe area for "road" running. 

220 runners participated from 22 colleges from the Wellington area, the Kapiti Coast and the Wairarapa.

Thanks to the marshals, course measurers, the starting and finishing officials and the organisers, Don Dalgliesh and College Sport Wellington.
